Who we are

Swoop is a product of Chatmint Labs FZ-LLC, Dubai, UAE (“Swoop”, “we”, “us”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What Swoop is today

Swoop is at an early stage. Today it consists of a waitlist, a private pro group on WhatsApp, and a small test on Telegram. Much of what this site describes is what we are building, and it may not be available yet. It may change or never launch. We can change, pause, or end any part of Swoop at any time.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into these terms. Give us accurate details, and only give us contact details that are your own.

Waitlist and pro group

• Joining the waitlist or applying for pro does not guarantee access, a launch date, or a price.
• We choose who joins the pro group and may remove anyone from it. You can leave at any time.
• Other members can see your phone number and your posts. Be respectful, do not spam, and do not share other members’ numbers or messages outside the group.
• WhatsApp’s own terms also apply to the group.

The Telegram pilot

Swoop on Telegram is a test feature. It may be unavailable, slow, or wrong.

Restaurant search

Results come from third-party sources and may be out of date or inaccurate. A listing does not mean a table is available. Any booking you make through a listing is between you, that service, and the restaurant.

Restaurant form test

Swoop opens a restaurant’s own booking page and fills in what it can. Swoop does not submit the form. You review it and decide.

• If you tap Submit on the restaurant’s form, that is a real reservation request from you. The restaurant’s terms apply, including any deposit, cancellation, or no-show policy.
• Check every detail before you submit. You are responsible for what you enter and submit.
• A filled form, a selected time, or a listing is not a confirmed booking. Some booking pages may hold a time briefly while a session is open.
• Live sessions end after about five minutes. Please close a session when you finish.

Home cleaning test

The visits, availability, and prices are samples. Approving a test request does not book a cleaner, contact a provider, or charge you.

Restaurants and other third parties

Restaurants, booking and map services, messaging platforms, and other third parties are independent of us. Naming or listing a business does not mean it partners with or endorses Swoop, or that we endorse it. They are responsible for their own services, and their terms apply when you use them. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do or fail to do.

Fees

Swoop is free to use today, and we do not take payments. If we introduce paid services, we will tell you the price and the terms first. Our plan is for you to approve the price and details before any paid booking is made.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use Swoop for anything illegal, harmful, or fraudulent;
• make fake or abusive reservation requests, or use someone else’s details without their permission;
• try to break, overload, scrape, or get around the limits or security of Swoop;
• use Swoop to send spam or to harass anyone.

We may limit or end your access if you do, or if we need to protect Swoop, other people, or our providers.

Our content and your feedback

The Swoop name, logo, site, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, including in the pro group, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.

Investment information

Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or investment advice.

No warranty

Swoop is provided “as is” and “as available”, as an early test product. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose, or that any task will be completed.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, or opportunity, or for missed or failed reservations and charges imposed by third parties. Our total liability for any claim relating to Swoop is limited to AED 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above. If you keep using Swoop after a change, the new terms apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law gives you a different right.
